At the beginning of my career, I was hired as an Adult Basic Education and English as a Second Language Instructor. This experience led me to become TESL certified. In  2021, I  developed a language literacy program for new refugees to Canada of over 300 pictogram lesson plans to support them in their integration into Canadian Life. The program was developed with the following theories and principles.
